Al-Houthi Names Four Supporting Parties for Palestinians
Abdul Malik al-Houthi, leader of the Iran-backed Houthi movement, expressed his assessment of Operation "Al-Aqsa Storm" carried out by Hamas in Israel on October 7, 2023, as the greatest epic in the jihad of the Palestinian people. He confirmed that the operation demonstrated its impact on the international community, as Western unrest escalated and efforts were made to defend Israel, despite limited Arab and Islamic support. He accused the West and Zionist tools of standing alongside the occupier. He pointed out that the Arab and Islamic nation missed a genuine opportunity to support the Palestinians, and that the operation marked a shift in the nation's struggle against the enemy. The attack resulted in the deaths of over 1,200 Israelis and the taking of 251 hostages.
