Trump reaffirms Nobel Peace Prize claim
Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, claiming that he has contributed to resolving eight conflicts since taking office. However, he expressed doubt about his chances of winning the award in 2026, which will be announced by the Norwegian Nobel Committee. Trump mentioned that he received support from leaders of countries such as Cambodia, Israel, and Pakistan for his nomination, although the validity of these claims has not been confirmed. He feels he is more deserving of the prize than others. Nonetheless, he has not succeeded in resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and some conflicts have continued despite his claims of having solved them. Meanwhile, the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine and the developments in Iran remain among the most prominent current issues related to the Nobel Peace Prize.
