Trump says he deserves Nobel but doubts winning
Donald Trump said that he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize and affirmed that he has received support from some world leaders. However, he admitted there are doubts about his winning it, especially since many nominations have not been verified. Although he is optimistic about the possibility of receiving the award in 2026, he has not succeeded in resolving the Ukrainian crisis or reducing the ongoing conflicts in regions like Congo and Cambodia. The impacts of conflicts in Iran and rising energy prices following American-Israeli strikes also remain unresolved. The Nobel Committee is leaning towards the likelihood of other candidates winning, including the Pope and the International Criminal Court.
