Saudi Arabia reports damage in Riyadh from Houthi missile
The Saudi Civil Defense recorded material damages in a kindergarten and medical clinics in Riyadh as a result of intercepting and destroying a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis from Yemen, which caused shrapnel to fall inside the city. The Saudi-led coalition confirmed that it intercepted and destroyed three ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi group targeting Riyadh and Khamis Mushait. In response, the Houthis claimed to have targeted Riyadh Airport, which has advised travelers to check their flight status before heading to the airport amid escalating tensions between the Kingdom and the Houthi group in Yemen.
