Hanning in contact with Israel, China, and Azerbaijan
Investigations reveal the involvement of August Hanning, the former President of Germany's intelligence agency "BND," in recruiting and passing secret information to foreign countries, including China, Azerbaijan, and Israel. He has been detained along with his former chief of staff after evidence emerged that he provided hundreds of confidential reports in exchange for money, which were then used to offer consultancy services to international intelligence agencies. Authorities are now examining whether Hanning transmitted sensitive information to the Chinese general, and investigations are ongoing into allegations of his connections with Israeli intelligence, especially after secret files were used in espionage operations. This raises concerns about the credibility and methods of German intelligence agencies and their cooperation with international partners.
