Saudi envoy declares Bab al-Mandab cleared
The Yemeni forces, supported by Saudi Arabia, announce the liberation of the Bab al-Mandab area from the remnants of Houthi militants, as part of broader battles aimed at regaining control of this vital strait. Sources confirm that this operation is part of the Yemeni army's efforts to free the western regions from the Houthis, who threaten international navigation security and impact oil prices in the region. This comes amid an escalation in military activities following the breakdown of the ceasefire with Iran and increased missile attacks on oil facilities and ships.
