Abed Anani's Controversial Situation
The case revolves around a crisis in which the artist Abed Anani experienced repeated water outages in his residence at Dar Misr complex in Gardens of October. This led him to uncover tampering by workers with the water meter and plumbing. After attempting to repair the faults, he received threats of assault and being buried alive from one of the workers and security personnel, which was recorded by surveillance cameras. Anani filed a report at Third October Police Station against the worker and security personnel, demanding that the government and security authorities protect him. Within less than an hour, security authorities managed to arrest three suspects. Anani reaffirmed his legal rights and refused to settle, while investigations into the threats continue.
