Turkey Supports Saudi after Houthi Attack
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia after the Houthi group targeted Abha International Airport in Riyadh. It condemned the attacks and offered condolences to the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. The ministry emphasized the need to halt attacks targeting civilians and infrastructure and called for resolving disputes through dialogue and diplomatic means. These statements came after the death of three Saudi citizens and injuries to others in attacks on Abha Airport and King Khalid Airport, as part of an escalation that began in July 2026 within the ongoing Yemen conflict since 2014.
