Zelensky criticizes Trump-Putin oil agreement
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized the oil agreement between Moscow and Washington, considering it a "weak" decision and a reflection of U.S. weakness. He regarded it as unfair and indicative of American indecisiveness. Zelensky stated that the agreement does not serve fair interests and is a weak decision that demonstrates Washington's lack of strength in handling the oil issue. Meanwhile, the Kremlin announced that Russia is prepared to supply oil to the American and global markets. President Vladimir Putin and former President Donald Trump also discussed ways to resolve the Ukraine conflict as well as the situation in Iran. This comes amid expectations of increased Russian oil exports to the United States following Trump's announcement of an immediate supply of 300,000 tons of diesel fuel.
