On the third anniversary of Hezbollah's decision to support the Gaza confrontation by opening a southern Lebanon front, it became clear that the outcomes of this war were not as expected. The escalation led to the destruction of Lebanese areas, increased human and material losses, and a renewal of clashes in 2026 within the context of the war against Iran. The experience demonstrated that opening the front did not control its course and was susceptible to escalating into a full-scale war, threatening Lebanon's sovereignty and security. It highlights that a permanent security settlement is necessary, including the Israeli withdrawal from occupied territories and the restoration of stability. Additionally, it underscores the need for a clear national defense strategy to prevent future wars and ensure genuine security for the Lebanese people.
