French astronaut Sophie Adonu spent 235 days aboard the International Space Station, breaking the European record for the longest continuous stay in orbit after returning to Earth from an eight-month mission. Adonu shared her mixed feelings of great joy and challenges during her time in space, noting her health had deteriorated due to microgravity. She will undergo a recovery program over the next three weeks. The re-entry process faced difficulties, especially due to rough waves that prolonged the rescue by 25 minutes; she expressed her desire to return to space again, having been the first French astronaut to perform repairs on the station's crew.
