Genoa First Win, Fiorentina at Risk
Genoa's team achieved their first victory of the current Italian football league season after defeating Fiorentina 2-1 at the opening of the sixth round. Genoa scored two early goals through Milutin Osmaic in the 7th and 15th minutes, despite Fiorentina's attempt to close the gap, as they had a goal disallowed and conceded a goal due to an error by their defender, Johan Vaskes, in the second half. With this win, Genoa's points increased to 4, moving up from 19th to 17th place, while Fiorentina dropped to the lower positions after their fourth loss of the season.
