Saudi League: Ronaldo and the Man of the Match
Details of the match reveal that Cristiano Ronaldo did not ignore the "Man of the Match" award after his victory with Al Nassr over Dhruma; rather, he went straight to the dressing room for treatment and recovery, which sparked controversy over his absence from the trophy presentation ceremony. Ronaldo scored his 980th goal in his career and led Al Nassr to a 3-0 victory, while the match saw the debut of Awad Aman in the starting lineup and more opportunities for young players, all supported by a large fan turnout.
