White House boycott probes five networks
The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating five television networks—ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, and Fox News—after they boycotted White House coverage in protest of the revocation of journalists' credentials from three media outlets, which could constitute a violation of antitrust laws. It is believed that the collective boycott among competitors may violate the Sherman Act, potentially exposing the networks to legal and financial pressures amid tensions between the Trump administration and major media outlets. The networks did not immediately comment on the matter.
