Houthis Gain Control in Taiz Countryside
Houthi forces have taken control of several areas in the Taiz countryside in Yemen, including Al Nawal, the Yferis intersection, the junction in Jabal Habashi District, and Nijd Qasim in Al-Mesherah District, along with a complete siege on the city of Taiz due to the Houthis' positioning from all directions. In response, government forces carried out approximately 1,732 precise targeted operations against Houthi military targets using aircraft and artillery, resulting in the neutralization of over 900 militants and the destruction of more than 287 military vehicles as part of Operation "Fajr Yemen." Clashes have intensified since July, with repeated attacks on Saudi Arabia, while government forces continue efforts to regain control of areas held by the Houthis.
