Algeria Defender Bensebaini Addresses Team Dispute
Ramy Bensebaini, player of the Algerian national team and Borussia Dortmund, responded to rumors claiming there was a crisis between him and coach Ibrahim Hamdani following the recent matches of the national team. Bensebaini confirmed on his Instagram account that the statements attributed to him are completely incorrect, emphasizing that representing Algeria is a source of pride for him and that his national allegiance is beyond any doubt. He added that playing for the national team is both a responsibility and an honor, and that his love for his country doesn't need to be expressed through social media statements. The Algerian national team is preparing for two matches in the Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifiers, hoping to qualify and compete for the title despite the retirement of star player Riyad Mahrez, supported by a talented attacking generation led by Bensebaini.
