Russia bans radioactive clock from Israel
Russia has stopped the entry of a cursed, radioactive watch coming from Israel after it was discovered to contain radiation levels equal to 20 times the natural background radiation, posing a danger with daily use. Customs officials at Domodedovo Airport in Moscow dismantled a package sent to a person in the Republic of Udmurtia, which was found to contain a radioactive flying watch, despite official documents stating that the contents included only keys and clothing. This incident is part of previous cases in Russia involving the seizure of watches containing radioactive materials such as radium, which was used in military and aviation watches in the past, despite their discontinuation due to health risks. The package was returned to Israel, while tests confirmed that the watch poses health hazards and exceeds permitted radiation standards.
