Russia projects higher diesel exports than Trump announced
The article discusses Russia's ability to increase its diesel exports after a significant decline caused by Ukrainian attacks on oil refineries and domestic restrictions. Russia announced that it can raise diesel exports to levels exceeding those previously announced by former U.S. President Trump, with expectations to reach between 3 and 3.5 million tons per month by the end of the year, compared to pre-crisis levels that were over three million tons monthly. The sources also indicated that despite the self-imposed ban, Russia continued to supply diesel to Asian countries through government agreements, with exports to Central Asia reaching 427,000 tons last month. The article highlights Russia's recovery from the decline in exports and its shift toward increasing shipments, despite the challenges posed by Ukrainian attacks on the oil sector.
