Yemeni Council Threatens Execution for Houthi Collaborators
The Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen condemns espionage with the Houthi group and affirms that those found guilty of financing or providing information to support their activities must be punished. This includes implementing strict sanctions, even up to the death penalty, for crimes related to the country's security. The council also urges an intensification of investigations and intelligence efforts, warning against the exploitation of official or military positions to evade legal accountability. It emphasizes that protecting sovereignty and national security is the responsibility of the state and stresses the importance of confronting any attempt to penetrate institutions. Additionally, it calls for enhanced coordination between military and security forces to counter Houthi threats.
