Ex-fiancée of Trump's son linked to US ambassador removal
The American ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Giligweir, resigned following allegations of ethical violations involving accepting expensive gifts and attempting to obtain financial payments in exchange for influencing decisions within the Greek government. Her resignation comes after the White House requested her to step down amid reports of threats, intimidation, and suspicions of accepting inappropriate gifts and privileges. Additionally, government investigations are underway into claims of abuse of influence for personal debts, as well as recordings demonstrating her enjoyment of lavish trips and accommodations. Giligweir denied these accusations, stating that the allegations are baseless, and emphasized that her term was nearing its end. She expressed her gratitude for her dedication to President Trump and the "America First" movement.
