Israel blocks Gaza Peace Council base
The Guardian newspaper reported that Israel is refusing to allow the implementation of a project to establish an advanced military site in the Gaza Strip for the benefit of the Peace Council affiliated with U.S. President Donald Trump. The council issued a contract in August to build the site, which can accommodate 150 international soldiers, but Israel is blocking the entry of contractors and trucks into Gaza and refusing to open the crossings, preventing work from beginning. Meanwhile, Trump continues to claim that he has succeeded in ending the conflicts in Gaza, and considers the council a central element in his claims of ending the war.
