Martinez apologizes after frustration
Manchester United defender Lissandro Martinez apologized for criticizing the board over the lack of transfer investments after expressing his anger and frustration following the defeat to Atletico Madrid and the team's unsuccessful start to the season. He pointed out that the expectation was for the club to make more investments to strengthen the squad, despite having signed three midfielders for around 150 million pounds. Martinez confirmed that his comments were made out of anger after the loss and that he had a positive exchange of views with management and the coach. He apologized for his remarks at an inappropriate time, emphasizing the importance of ambition and continuous development to compete at the highest level.
