Warsh does not comment on October policy
The Chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve, Kevin Warsh, refused to provide clear signals regarding the monetary policy decision in October, emphasizing that he will not prejudge the outcome of the upcoming meetings scheduled for October 27-28. He pointed out that the bank increased interest rates in September and is committed to achieving price stability, having tightened some monetary easing, but he confirmed that the final decision will not be announced before the next meeting, as the focus remains on protecting the economy from inflation.
