Coalition Stops Houthi Sea Arms Trade
The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen has continued its efforts to combat arms smuggling to the Houthi group via the sea, successfully thwarting attempts to ship weapons towards the Hodeidah Governorate. The coalition's spokesperson showcased these interdictions with video clips on the X platform. This comes at a time when clashes persist on the fronts of Taiz, where Houthi attacks have failed to make any breakthroughs in the southern and western frontlines, amid aerial support and targeted operations in the Shuqib, Al-Aqroud, Al-Marashik areas, and around Mount Hain. Additionally, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad al-Alimi, discussed with the British Foreign Secretary measures to prevent arms smuggling and dual-use technologies to the Houthis.
