Lebanese State to Decide on War or Peace
Lebanese Prime Minister Nohad Maalaoui emphasized that the country's stability depends on the state's gradual control over all Lebanese territories without external interference. He commended the enhanced deployment of the armed forces in Beirut over the past two days to calm citizens following nighttime gatherings that raised concerns. He also highlighted the importance of following the investigation structures regarding the seized explosive shipment in Zahle, and pursuing all those involved in possessing illegal weapons and their transportation. He called on everyone to prioritize Lebanon's interests and avoid linking decisions to external agendas. He reaffirmed that the decision to go to war or maintain peace must remain solely in the hands of the state and its constitutional institutions.
