Tel Aviv-Vienna plane diverted after bomb threat
The article discusses two serious incidents in the field of aviation. The first involved an emergency landing of a flight between Tel Aviv and Vienna due to a bomb threat. The second incident concerns an attempted hijacking and sabotage aboard a Fly Dubai flight. In the first case, an Airbus A320 operated by Austrian Airlines was forced to land in Sofia after receiving a bomb threat. The aircraft was carrying 51 passengers and 6 crew members and was escorted by a Bulgarian military aircraft until it landed safely. In the Fly Dubai incident, it is alleged that the co-pilot attempted to crash and sabotage the plane after assaulting the pilot. He reportedly planned to crash the aircraft near Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, inspired by the September 11 attacks. Authorities are currently investigating both incidents, and it is expected that alternative flights will be arranged for the affected passengers.
