Louvre closes amid protests
The Louvre Museum in Paris closed its doors this Monday morning after protesters, mostly high school students, blocked the roads leading to it in protest against the current situation and government policies. This closure occurs within the context of a broader mobilization against rising living costs and various protests taking place across France, with demonstrations intensifying alongside thick smoke near the museum. This action is part of a series of repeated protests, following days of widespread clashes throughout the country, and serves as a show of solidarity with the students' movement against security repression.
