Netanyahu discusses Ben-Gvir's role in government
United Torah Judaism and Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir will be appointed as a senior minister in his future government if he wins the elections on October 27. Ben-Gvir claimed he told the European Union that he would be expelled from the coalition, a statement denied by Likud, and expressed his desire to appoint himself to official positions. Despite the commitment to include Ben-Gvir in the government, Netanyahu clarified that roles such as defense and justice will remain under Likud's control, amid criticism of Ben-Gvir's extreme positions and the shifts in Israeli politics in light of the upcoming elections.
