Netanyahu Uses Erdoğan Hostility in Campaign
The article confirmed that the Turkish Justice and Development Party accuses Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of trying to exploit anti- Erdoğan sentiment in his election campaign amid declining popularity. The party's spokesperson stated that Israeli statements against Turkey and its leader hold no value, and that Israel is attempting to obstruct the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and to withhold the second phase of the ceasefire agreement, in the context of intensifying its attacks on Palestinians. The spokesperson also pointed out that Israel is taking new steps in the West Bank, describing the settlers as "thieves," and noted that Turkey, led by Erdoğan, is taking an intensive diplomatic stance to defend Palestinian rights. He added that Israel’s hostile statements against Erdoğan are based on lies, and that Turkey will continue to defend itself and repel attacks, as the party focuses on Turkey’s supportive stance for the Palestinians and its rejection of Israeli escalation.
