Rubio discusses Trump and Ukraine Starlink issues
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke about former President Donald Trump's lack of involvement in restricting the internet service "Starlink" used by Ukraine. He emphasized that the company, owned by Elon Musk, is a private entity and that the White House was not previously aware of any decision regarding it. Ukraine had accused SpaceX of limiting the service during a military escalation, as Ukraine relies on "Starlink" and "Starshield" to secure communications and carry out military operations. Rubio confirmed that U.S. aid was necessary to support Ukraine and discussed ideas for a settlement to the regional conflict in Donbas. He also denied any connection between Trump and the slowdown of "Starlink" service and touched upon his relationship with President Zelensky.
