Netanyahu Opposes Palestinian State
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that he wishes to remain in office for five additional terms, emphasizing that his main condition for joining his new government is the refusal to establish a Palestinian state, considering this the primary and decisive principle. He indicated his intention to form the government with his current partners, despite his rejection of taking on the role of Defense Minister from the Likud party, even though Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir aspires to that position. In response to Iranian threats, Netanyahu mentioned that his mission is to destroy the Iranian regime and eliminate the threat, while being prepared to confront any potential attacks. He also expressed surprise at Trump's support for his reelection, reaffirming that his goal is to secure five more terms, because his position is not as important to him as the political mission.
