Yemeni government forces expanded their operations against the Houthis, as fighting resumed on the Bab al-Mandab front and Giants Brigades forces advanced in western Lahj, recapturing strategic positions including Mount Safin and Qarn al-Shamaya. The army also sent reinforcements to al-Maqatirah District. Clashes continued on the Taiz fronts, alongside efforts to clear mines and explosive devices from recaptured areas in al-Jawf. The armed forces announced that they had carried out 951 targeting operations over 24 hours as part of “Yemen’s Dawn” operation, saying they had neutralized around 332 Houthi leaders and fighters and destroyed or disabled 56 vehicles and pieces of military equipment.
