Trump surprised by vote
U.S. President Donald Trump said he was somewhat surprised by the scale of Republican losses in the election, despite the large campaign rallies that he said had demonstrated strong support for the party. He added that he had expected the party to perform better nationwide. He expressed regret over Republican Senator Darlene Graham’s defeat in her bid to win a full term in the Senate, and accused Fox News of contributing to the losses by hosting representatives of the Democratic opposition.
