Yemeni government forces recaptured strategic positions in Al Maqatirah district, Lahj governorate, and repelled Houthi advances. They also took control of positions in the areas of Al-Duhayda and Malifiya, east of Al Jawf, and continued to sweep the areas and clear mines. Clashes continued in Taiz and along the Bab al-Mandab front, as the Houthis launched ballistic missiles at front lines in Lahj and Al Dhale, leaving people killed and wounded in Qatabah. No final casualty toll was announced. The Yemeni armed forces said they carried out 1,208 strikes on Tuesday as part of “Dawn of Yemen,” claiming to have neutralized about 370 group leaders and members and destroyed or damaged around 120 military vehicles and pieces of equipment.
