The Foreign Ministers of Egypt and Qatar discussed regional developments, including efforts to address the Iranian crisis and to reconcile differences among the involved parties with the aim of de-escalation and ending the war. They also reviewed efforts to support the resumption of US-Iran negotiations. Additionally, the two ministers emphasized the need to implement the Gaza ceasefire plan, which includes allowing humanitarian aid, recovery efforts, and Israel's gradual withdrawal, while enabling the Palestinians to exercise their right to self-determination and establish an independent state based on the 1967 borders.
