Israeli efforts to shape Lebanon's reality
The Israeli army is making progress on the ground in Lebanon, advancing toward the outskirts of the towns of Mijdel Zoun and Kfar Toubniyet, reaching the edges of the Ali Tair heights that overlook Nabatieh, in an attempt to establish new facts on the ground. This comes in response to Iran and Hezbollah being informed that an Iranian-American memorandum of understanding will be announced soon, with concerns that Israel's expansion of the war aims to broaden the geographical boundaries of the area where the army is deployed after Hezbollah’s withdrawal.
