Brunson earns MVP after Knicks victory

The New York Knicks won the NBA championship for the first time since 1973, led by Jalen Brunson who scored 45 points in the decisive final game. The series concluded with their victory over the San Antonio Spurs 4-1, marking the team’s fourth consecutive win after a slow start to the season. Brunson is considered one of the team’s key players, having signed a $156.5 million contract for the 2024 season, and played a central role in transforming the team into league champions.
