Mustafa Shobeir Continues Family Legacy with Egypt

Egyptian national team goalkeeper Mustafa Shobeer has joined the list of players participating in the World Cup finals for the first time, after being called up to compete in the 2026 World Cup in North America. He continues the Shobeer family legacy in major tournaments. It is expected that Mustafa, 26 years old, will play a key role in the Egyptian squad led by coach Hossam Hassan. His participation is a historic achievement for Egyptian fans, as Egypt has been absent from the World Cup since 1990.
