Egypt's Sisi to meet Trump at G7

Egypt intends for President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to participate in the G7 Summit scheduled to be held in Évian, France, from June 15 to 17, 2026. The discussions are expected to focus on topics related to global economic growth, geopolitical crises, and cooperation in the fields of digitalization and artificial intelligence. This will be Egypt's second participation in such a summit, having first attended in 2019 during Egypt's presidency of the African Union. It is also anticipated that Sisi will hold bilateral meetings with leaders of other countries during the summit, including U.S. President Donald Trump.
