The "Tablet and Pen" Museum has been inaugurated in Doha, dedicated to the late Indian artist Maqbool Fida Husain. It houses his collection and works that document his journey as one of the most prominent founders of modern art in India. Husain lived in Qatar during his final years after leaving India, and the museum highlights his artistic life and his connection to Doha, which was his last stop before his death in 2011.
