The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli attack on South Beirut, which resulted in the death and injury of several Lebanese citizens. It considered this a blatant violation of Lebanon's sovereignty and the ceasefire agreement signed in April between Iran and the United States. The ministry emphasized that Israel bears responsibility for the serious consequences of this escalation, which threatens peace and security in the region, following an Israeli military strike on an Hezbollah headquarters, with Iran responding with missiles against Israel in the most severe escalation since the ceasefire ended.
