Southern Transitional Council in Aden Rejects Inclusion of Death Row Prisoners in Houthi Prisoner Exchange Deal

The Executive Authority of the Southern Transitional Council in Aden announced its rejection of including individuals convicted of final terrorism and criminal cases in prisoner exchange deals with the Houthis, considering such actions undermine the dignity of the judiciary and the rights of victims. It reaffirmed its support for the positions of the Radhwan tribes, the Southerners of Safigah, and Shabwa, and warned against political interventions aimed at issuing rulings to release the convicted individuals, deeming such efforts a threat to security and stability in the southern region.
