Over 25 Tons of Smuggled and Banned Agricultural Pesticides Seized in the Capital

The General Administration for Money Laundering Investigations successfully seized over 25 tons and 195 kilograms of smuggled and banned agricultural pesticides that were on their way to the capital markets, aiming to protect public health and the environment. The operation was carried out through two separate investigations, involving the seizure of approximately 8.5 tons of pesticides aboard a truck and the raiding of the trader's warehouses, where more than 16 tons of prohibited substances were discovered. The suspects and the confiscated materials were referred to the competent authorities.
