Iranian company Mahans rejected; Yemen presidency announces repatriation of Houthi elements to Sana'a via Yemenia aircraft

The Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council held a meeting to discuss policies related to opening civilian flights from Sana'a Airport. The council reviewed the government's efforts to operate flights through Yemen Airways, as well as the challenges imposed by the Houthi militias and their rejection of governmental initiatives, including their seizure of aircraft and disruptions to the airline’s operations. The council also reaffirmed the airline’s readiness to operate flights to Amman and other destinations if security guarantees are provided. Additionally, they warned against any future violations of Yemen’s sovereignty by Iran and the Houthis.
