The local authorities in Aden continued their campaign to remove the South's flag from schools and educational institutions, while citizens and residents held a peaceful protest in front of the Education Office. They expressed their rejection of targeting the southern national identity and preventing the singing of the southern national anthem in schools. These measures are part of an attempt by the Saudi-backed authorities to erase symbols of the southern identity, which has generated widespread discontent among the population. The residents emphasized the importance of preserving the national identity and delaying any efforts to undermine it.
