Nabil ElAraby, Secretary-General of the Arab League, discussed with Palestinian Foreign Minister Fares Sayegh the latest developments in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. He emphasized the importance of countering Israeli occupation plans aimed at diluting Palestinian identity and imposing a forced geographical and demographic reality, including efforts to achieve actual annexation of the West Bank. The meeting also addressed supporting the resilience of the Palestinian people and confronting Israeli measures that restrict the Palestinian economy, as well as attempts to isolate Palestinian banks from the global financial system. The overall goal is to strengthen the Arab position in facing the on-the-ground and political challenges in Palestinian territories.
