Lebanese Foreign Minister Yusuf Raji confirmed that "Hezbollah" has dragged Lebanon into two consecutive wars over the past two years, despite warnings about the dangers of escalation. He pointed out the need for the state to regain its sovereignty over all Lebanese territory and to keep arms within legitimate institutions. He condemned Iranian attacks on Gulf countries and Jordan, describing them as hostile actions aimed at destabilizing regional security. Raji reaffirmed Lebanon's commitment to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817. He also emphasized the importance of the state's authority over all Lebanese land, condemned Israeli attacks that have resulted in tens of thousands of casualties and injuries, and led to the destruction of villages in southern Lebanon, along with economic losses amounting to billions of dollars.
