The National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council warned against attempts to flood southern regions with chaos and terrorism, emphasizing that the challenges include security threats in Hadramout and Al Mahrah. It also warned of the exploitation of terrorist organizations to fill the security vacuum. The assembly stressed that any arrangements regarding the future of the South must be based on the will of the people and in honor of the sacrifices of the martyrs. It reaffirmed its rejection of the coordination councils sought by Yemeni forces under Saudi guidance, which do not represent the will of the Southern people. Additionally, the body condemned the violations committed by Saudi-backed forces in Hadramout, underscoring the importance of respecting symbols of Southern identity, such as the national anthem and the flag. It also called for the release of the activist Mueen Al-Muqri.
