The humanitarian initiative "Small Wings Cinema" focused on providing film screenings for children in displacement camps and shelter centers in Gaza. The aim was to bring smiles and temporarily distract children from the atmosphere of fear and destruction they are experiencing in the region. This initiative is part of the "Gaza Hope Festival 2026" activities and seeks to reach more than half a million children, despite the major challenges faced, such as difficulties in transportation and securing electricity due to damage to the power grid. This comes amidst the suffering of approximately 94% of the population in Gaza and critical shelter needs faced by 58% of them, as a result of ongoing war and displacement.
