Arab and Islamic countries, including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Turkey, and others, welcomed the British government's decision to ban the import of goods from illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories and to impose restrictions on related services. They called on the international community to take similar measures, affirming that these policies align with international law and United Nations resolutions. They also urged Israel to cancel settlement measures that alter the geographical and demographic nature of the occupied lands. Additionally, they emphasized the importance of implementing the two-state solution and establishing a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital to ensure just and lasting peace in the region.
